Roadmap

Roadmap

A working index of expected development order. Dates, scope, and priority may change as systems are tested.

Phase 01 · Shipped 2026-06-19

Forge release

Terminal agent stabilized, installation path shipped, supported model endpoints documented. Forge v0.1.0 is publicly available; see the project page and repository.

Phase 02 · Approaching release

Forge IDE

A standalone graphical IDE built on the same Rust agent core as the CLI. Initial release ships on macOS as a signed .dmg; Linux and Windows follow. The two surfaces run against the same agent and can be used independently.

Phase 03

Forge depth

Improve reliability, context handling, local-model setup, subscription auth, and documentation based on actual usage of the released CLI and IDE.

Phase 04 · In preparation

Neural Substrate: open source release

Neural Substrate is transitioning from internal research to preparation for open source release — the biophysical tissue model, embodied environment, and CUDA kernels, alongside the methodology and research findings already being published as papers. Release timing is not yet fixed. See the project page for weekly progress.

Phase 05

Bastion direction

Continue OS, runtime, driver, and language research on the x86-64 native path, with 802.11 wireless driver development as the active focus. Development hardware is now in place; progress is steady but slower than Forge, by design — this is long-horizon systems work.

Phase 06

Sentinel beta

Define the initial Linux monitoring scope, build the rule engine, and test with external operators. Early work is underway now that development hardware is in place; Sentinel remains the lowest-priority active project and will move in occasional batches rather than a steady cadence.
