Overview
Sentinel is a governance-oriented Linux monitoring project at an early prototype stage. Scope, surface, and architecture are being worked through; this page exists primarily as a placeholder for future status reporting once the prototype is meaningful enough to document.
Sentinel is on indefinite hold. Bastion has taken its place as the second project after Forge, and Sentinel is not scheduled — not deferred to a date, simply not planned for now. The development hardware remains available if that changes.

Not in near-term focus
Focus is being consolidated on Forge and the Bastion OS. Sentinel is not on the active work list for now — the development laptop is in place for whenever it returns, but no work is happening on this track at present.

Development hardware in place; early work underway
A dedicated development laptop is now available for Sentinel. Scope, surface, and architecture work has begun after being deferred pending hardware. Sentinel remains the lowest-priority active project in the portfolio; expect progress in occasional batches rather than a steady cadence.
